Understanding the Updated 30-Cent Estimated Rate / Feb 20, 2026

Our app displays an estimated cost based on the default rate used for the Managed Charging program. 
Previously, this was set at 11 cents. 

However, many users noted that this didn't accurately reflect the total cost after taxes and additional fees. 

To provide a more realistic estimate, our program manager has adjusted the default rate to 30 cents.  

While this explains the recent increase in your app's estimated costs, please refer to your Eversource energy bill for your final, actual charges. 

The ev.energy app provides these figures as a helpful estimate, but your utility bill remains the official record of your usage.
